Matthew's practice focuses primarily on the needs of municipalities and school districts, injured individuals and developers. He is a labor and employment specialist with extensive experience in land use, planning, Right-to-Know Law, regular and special education, and personal injury. He also represents select developers before local land use boards.

Matthew is the chairman of the New Hampshire Board of Claims, and has experience representing employers before the N.H. Public Employee Labor Relations Board (PELRB), and representing planning and zoning boards in appeals to the New Hampshire Superior Court.

As a past town administrator (Towns of Rye and Belmont), Matthew has a unique understanding how legal advice impacts policy-making. His advice often includes management related services for small towns that do not have the budget to hire a full-time town manager or administrator.

Matthew's memberships include:

  • First Circuit Federal District Court
  • Past member, NHBA Committee for Cooperation with the Courts
  • New Hampshire Bar Foundation
