Rob counsels cities and towns in all aspects of municipal law with a focus on utilities and other special purpose properties regarding ad valoreum taxation and eminent domain. He also represents individuals in employment matters and personal injury litigation.
Recent highlights in his municipal utilities specialty include:

Representing the City of Nashua before the New Hampshire Public Utilities Commission in its eminent domain proceeding against Pennichuck Water Works, the largest private water utility in New Hampshire

Advising a numerous municipalities on the possible acquisition of Public Service Company of New Hampshire hydroelectric plans and subsequent generation of electricity following deregulation

Consulting the New Hampshire Municipal Association Pooled Energy Plan under which municipal members would aggregate their energy purchasing.
Rob also regularly represents municipalities in tax abatement proceedings before the New Hampshire Board of Tax and Land Appeal and the Superior Court involving utilities and large commercial and industrial facilities, and appears before the New Hampshire Legislature on tax and utility matters.
