Russ focuses his practice in the areas of commercial and insurance litigation, professional discipline, defense and alternative dispute resolution, representing businesses, municipalities and individual professionals.

A highly respected attorney among his peers, he is ranked by Chambers USA's America's Leading Lawyers for Business in the area of commercial litigation, which recognized him in 2010 as “as good a litigator as you could hope to find.”  He is also included in The Best Lawyers in America^® for alternative dispute resolution. He has a Martindale Hubbell AV rating.

Russ is one of only four from New Hampshire named by Super Lawyers to its 2011 list of Top 100 New England Attorneys. Lawyers are selected for Super Lawyers distinction following an extensive balloting, research and screening process that involves the state's lawyers nominating the best attorneys they've personally observed in action. Russ has been named to the top 100 in New England list, which also includes attorneys from Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Vermont, and Maine, each year since 2008.
